More About Slowing Down

One of my favorite inspirational bloggers, Robin Easton, wrote a wonderful post that adds to my previous post. The importance of our learning to slow our lives down at times can not be over emphasized for our emotional happiness.

Very interesting posts an I couldn't agree more. We (well definitely me!) need to stop and take a breath in our lives. There's so much rushing around and trying to get ahead, squashing everyone else in the process. It's generally every man for themselves.

I think a lot of the world's problems would be eased if we all just stopped and listened to the world and each other - even ourselves instead of shouting at everyone and fighting all the time. It's crazy.

Hi Roger,
In this all too hectic, fast-paced world, where so many people seem to be in such a hurry; We do indeed need to reflect, to savour, the magical moments in our lives.
We must never be too busy to pass up the opportunity to take a breath, slow down and embrace the goodness on offer.
In peace and respect to you and Robin Easton. Gary.

I was in the process of slowing my life down. A new situation arose that needed addressing.

I thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. As a result I've resolved not to take anyone too seriously... including myself.

Peace,
Dixie

Roger, there's a whole new world to discover if we'd just take life a little slower. As we rush through our lives, we often overlook the little things that bring so much joy to our days...

'Gather in ye roses'...while you can!(smile)

Great post!

Dear Roger, I am deeply honored to see this here. And to read the heartfelt comments here. It is so good to see that there are others we understand and feel the need to slow down and take time out. I have to do this just so I don't lose site of who I REALLY am and what is REALLY important in my life. If I don't take time out for this kind of introspection and reflection (and to notice the natural world....all is lost for me.

It is an honor to connect with you and a joy to read your wise words.
Thank you dear Roger. Robin
